📍 Lancashire, UK The main challenge of the project was to create a facade that would withstand the harsh weather conditions of the area, including strong winds, rain, and snow. The facade also needed to be easy to maintain and clean. The architect, Ben Jurin, chose Dekton Domoos and Zenith for the facade due to their exceptional durability, versatility, and aesthetic appeal. 📍 Zürich, Schweiz Once again it is time to talk about The Circle, the largest and most demanding construction project in Switzerland, where several of its establishments use Cosentino’s materials. Silestone is one of the hardest natural materials in existence – second only to diamond, sapphire and topaz – and its composition is more reliable than that of any other natural stone. Its non-porous surface prevents dirt from penetrating, making Silestone one of the world’s most advanced materials for kitchen worktops. Pavilion Hilltop is a high end residential development in Mont’Kiara, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). To achieve, the minimalist and contemporary result, the studio opted for strong lines and a total look in white with details in neutral and dark shades. 📍 Barcelona, Spain The renovation project for this space is as sensitive as it is lucid and has succeeded in restoring La Carla to its residential nature. In the kitchen, natural stone was introduced as a protagonist element in Super White Calacatta colour, with which an island with a very ornamental and sculptural extension has been created. The white with grey veins of this natural marble brings elegance and sophistication to a minimalist space, taking the aesthetic focus of this room. In the children's bathroom, natural stone is also present with a Portuguese Pink Marble countertop, creating a cosy space with its cream, white and pink tones. 📍 Sanxenxo, Pontevedra (Spain) In this environmentally friendly space, the architects used Dekton, an ultra-compact, cradle-to-grave carbon neutral surface, to clad the ventilated façade. Specifically, they used a concealed fixing system with structural adhesive on aluminium profiles. In this case, Dekton Aeris was chosen for its light tones with realistic cream details inspired by white limestone. Last week, we welcomed one of Britain’s most renowned TV presenters and sustainable architects to the Cosentino City London. Kevin McCloud and Cosentino’s Regional Director Paul Gidley, compered by design journalist Roddy Clarke, came together to discuss the topic ‘Materials Matter: Designing for a sustainable future’ for an audience of the UK’s leading architects and designers. An eye-opening panel talk that covered the importance of holding the government to account for net zero targets around the built environment, the role of architects in specifying more durable and sustainable materials, and the importance of brands continuing to push the boundaries of innovation to create better products that will contribute to a circular economy.

📍 Zoetermeer (Netherlands) JK Beautyshop is a new high-end beauty shop located in Zoetermeer. The shop features a stylish pantry with a high gloss Dekton Kahlo countertop and backsplash. This bold colour, in combination with the white walls and wooden cabinets, creates a very elegant look. In the centre of the shop there is a display case with Dekton Marmorio. This colour complements the other Dekton colours chosen and adds an extra dimension to the space. The rich nail polish collection is the star of this high-end shop. To display the nail polishes, the architect designed a nail polish display made entirely of Dekton Awake.
